+ SPECIAL GUESTS
Jack’s Saving Grace are Manchester’s newest indie rock ‘n’ roll group. Four loveable rogues hailing from Salford, Stockport, Stretford and Oldham, their music is an infectious mix of catchy riffs, pumping basslines, tight beats and sharp lyrics – reflecting the highs and lows of modern life. With a unique sound likened to The Kinks, Squeeze, Echo and the Bunnymen, Manson and even REM, social realism and dark humour combine to tell relatable stories about love, struggle and frustration. Tunes that are guaranteed to get your foot tapping and melodies that will get you jumping. JSG are an excellent example of what can happen when good musicians find each other. The frustrations of writing and rehearsing alone during lockdown drove Adam (he likes to play loud, he’s a greed guitarist not a lead guitarist) and Martyn (bass) to form the band, with Fran (vocals and rhythm guitar) and Jordan (drums) after a couple of early changes in personnel. The band was complete and they set about creating a strong mix of tracks that tackle diverse issues with a wry grin – not your typical indie anthems, these cheeky chappies want to make you think as well as dance! Their name derived from a cult 90s film (they’ll buy you a pint if you can tell them which one!) JSG are proud northern musicians on a mission to bring something new to the indie scene. Give them a listen, or get down to one of their gigs to experience the banter and sheer fun of seeing them live!
